Been playing since GT3 and I have the same feelings as you. Absolutely love this game, and it's incredible how it can truly make someone love cars again or for the first time.

Very nice, I share the same sentiments. I can't wait till they open up the sport mode more. I hope they do it right with the pp/bop, penalties, time trials etc. A very underrated feature for me is the loading times. From menus to racing within seconds is awesome. Maybe that is more a PS5/SSD thing than a GT7 thing, but I love it.

The one thing that makes 7 stand out from even my favorites 2, 4, and 6 is that it has NPCs now. Gran Turismo, suddenly, has a world.

For the race format, this reminds me a lot of Daytona USA and Ridge Racer but the contestants won't drift unless they're on dirt tracks.

Hoping they eventually release this on PC. Several PS exclusives have been releasing on steam over the last year so it could make sense! This game on an ultrawide or triple setup would be incredible.

You guys know what I'm going to say so I won't say it 😂. but what I will say is I still can’t believe how much fun I’m having with this game. Any expectations that I had for for it have been completely smashed. And this is coming from a diehard ACC fan. ACC on Consol even after the next GEN update is still nothing compared to its pc counterpart. having said that I guess that puts Gran Turismo 7 as the king of console racing games.

Compared to the OG Gran Turismo's this games pacing is still very fast and you progress relatively fast. After completing all licenses and some Cafe books you are already on almost on a million credits and a ton of cars. I kind of miss the old GT grind where you have to spend hours on just to get the parts you need and the money you need to buy new cars. I get that it's quite off putting for new players.

Other thing about this game is the chase mechanic, playing every race with a flying start where you are chasing rather than racing is a problem.

Besides these little things the game is absolutely amazing.

I am thoroughly enjoying this game, like it so much! I am playing on a PS4 and it works with my older driving wheel perfectly. So much fun!!!! You do not need to invest in a new system to enjoy this game. Great job creating the driving simulator…

i agree with you to a point. imo, gt7 should have a qualifying lap. if your a good enough driver to be placed close to the front, you should be awarded for that. i cant stand starting in the back, chasing down the pack. in my gt7, the mission tests are flawed, esp. divine moves. my f1 car has slicks, when it should have wet tires. im glad older tracks have come back, but chamonix snow rally course, and el capitan, rome, and apricot hill need to re appear as well. subbed to you, great content!
