Advocacy for culturally competent, affirming health care has been a central focus of the LGBT movement since soon after the Stonewall rebellion in 1969. This panel convened LGBT leaders and experts working in health care, research, and advocacy to discuss the role of health care advocacy in LGBTQ community organizing, both over the past half century and in the future.
