Polly from Texas here! Pastor David so many great points made in this message. I’ve heard sermons about communion before, but I have to say this is the one that made me feel like I was there, at the table, wondering why Jesus was changing the Passover script that all of them had grown up knowing, including Jesus. I’ve never thought about what was said before in place of what we know now as communion. Can’t wait to sit my kiddos down and watch this one with them. The end when you are talking about eating, has so many neat illustrations. And, of course, being from Texas, you mention tacos and we’re “all in”. 😂 Thank you for posting this!

Man was not made for the Sabbath, …Sabbath was made for man. Passover was/is a celebration ritual to honor God for His deliverance of the Jews from Egypt. Like you said, Pastor David, ..the proper and logical assumption of the apparent conflict is to consider that Jesus said he/they would eat the Passover, celebrating it a day earlier than it technically occurred. But, …as He is God, ..that’s His ‘call’, ..and because John was being perfectly technical about it, he’s just fine.✝️🙏🥰

Great presentation of Passover …. I will never understand why a pastor/teacher has to get into some kind of character and then start screaming any yelling. I’m positive Jesus didn’t do that.

Wouldn’t Judas had to have been at the Passover? In matthew 26:25 mentions Judas asking Jesus if it’s him.

No one wants to talk about this translation that makes 0 sense compared with Leviticus 23?? You can not prepare for Passover the day after Passover. My translation doesn't say that mine says as the feast of unleavened bread drew near, which makes sense.
