Blue tits are now coming to feed on our bedroom Juliet balcony feeders at the rear of the flat, sheltered away from the cold easterly wind. The bird certainly knew we were watching at close quarters. The iPhone camera seems to exaggerate the distance between us and the bird; the blue tit seemed unfazed by us being so close .

The beauty of balcony feeding is being close to live feeding birds and don't have to put on my spectacles to get a clear view. I can watch them feed even from comfort of bed!
