I recent months I've seen more and more people posting about quitting there jobs and deciding instead to 'do nothing'. In fact, I think it's become a movement! But is this really the solution to the 9 to 5 blues? Or is this just a one way ticket to the poor house? Let's talk about it!

No one has ever said “I wish that I worked more” on their deathbed.

The only ambition I have at this point is to *keep.* *Myself.* *Alive.*

Not concerned with what anyone else is doing or chasing after. My health and mental/emotional peace are my *only* priority, above *all else.*

I love being retired. I don’t miss working in the office with people I can’t stand.

You can't buy peace of mind. You also can't buy time.

I do nothing. Jobs are nothing but bullying, boredom and stress.

Yes! We’re conditioned to think that our productivity determines our worth. Like being burnt out and depressed means we’re a valuable member of society. It’s so backwards. I couldn’t do it anymore. I donated all my stuff and quit work, now I just don’t buy anything and live a minimal life. Finally feel at peace for the first time. 😸

My favorite quote I heard this year

" even if you succeed in the RAT race🐀, you're STILL a RAT 🐀 "

Quit my job, and haven't regretted it since. I'll have to work again someday. But the 40+ hour workweek is a social injustice. I'm in no hurry to go back to the grind. Your time is the most precious commodity you have. Don't let them rob you of your best years.

I am 54 yrs old and I've spent my entire life relaxing, I do a very low paying job, I am very much content in my needs, I always relax, I have no hurry in anything, I've never entered in the rat race of success and I am doing very fine because I've never felt the urge to accomplish anything.

I am doing awesome

I am living a stress free, high bp free, high blood suger free life

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL ❤

Honestly, after my divorce, being a broke single mom was the best thing that ever happened. My kids are more grounded, not chasing the newest tech. I live on a hobby farm and work part time. No TV, no Internet except my phone, I can see the stars at night. Money just doesn't mean as much to me as it does other people, I have other riches that they can't see or understand

If we're going to own nothing and be happy, we might as well start doing nothing now....

When I saw a brain surgeon quit his job and live in the mountains, instantly at that point I lost all hope in society. So there for I sit back and relax and let "america" aka Babylon fall.

I would LOVE to quit my job. My elderly mother and I are talking about moving in together to save money. I want to pursue things that I love - writing, making a YouTube channel, and being creative. I just want to be happy. I couldn't care less about having "things"

When I was younger in my twenties and 30s, I had to use headphones to run or walk. Now, when I go for a walk, I don't need any headphones . I just walk and process my thoughts and I try to remember why I should be thankful for the things I have now. I'm thankful that my knees still work too! Great video Tim!

I always took jobs based on low stress levels, not having to play politics, not having to keep up a public image to look good in front of the company, and certainly no ass-kissing. These are my priorities. Money and benefits come after all the above. I drive a forklift and swing trade stocks successfully on the side. I love it. Someday, I'll be a secret millionaire and will keep it secret by living simply. I love my life!

I’m so exhausted of working. Waking up to the same routine everyday. It’s not fun at all.

I work for man who gets bonuses based on staff productivity so he’s been driving all of us into the ground for the last seven years. This week over half of our team quit and the other half are putting resumes together to escape the matrix. We’re absolutely exhausted.

Life is too short to be full of stress and anxiety all the time. Quotas, mandates, nonstop deadlines are robbing your precious time away. Do the necessary amount of work to get by, take those vacation days and be happy. Nobody gets out of this life alive✌🏼

I’ve finally awoken my wife to this. She used to be a career girly striving to move up the corporate ladder. Then she realized the goal post kept moving and even though she’s making more money, it still feels like she’s getting nowhere.

Now she wants to work the least amount possible while focusing on enjoying life because she’s worked all her life with little reward. Once you see the light, you can’t go back.

Now I’ve convinced her to join me on the road and create some fun experiences. She also watches your videos now 😁
