Indestructible Shoes are footwear from a new company that has been making a big splash thanks to their heavy social media marketing push. I was very happy when they asked if I wanted to review a pair because...I really did!

I tested for 4 main criteria:
--No-slip Soles
--Steel Toe Strength
--Flameproof Qualities
--Overall Durability

I gave the Ryder Grey shoes a very strong B. The no-slip soles seemed to be fantastic. The steel toe endured an extremely heavy impact with a 26 lb. kettle bell. The soles are NOT nail-proof, however. Nor are the shoes themselves flame-proof (though I'm not sure Indestructible Shoes ever truly said that they were).

They are very comfortable though, and I think they look pretty good too!

I feel like these shoes would be best for some factory work, warehouse work, and kitchen work. These would also be a really good option for ANYWHERE that you need foot grip!

If your employer requires you to wear safety toe, be advised that these shoes wouldn't be allowed. These are yet to be certified by OSHA.

I bought the boot style but with the same basic features. I’m a carpenter so put them to the test through all the normal things carpenters do. Very comfortable and lightweight. The mesh fabric over the toes though, wore through after like a few days of wearing them. It seems like they could put a toe guard over these areas because they look crappy after just a week.

I ordered a pair of these shoes 9-9-2020. The per the delivery company, SF Express, stopped delivery as, “2020-9-15 01:01:05 Customer hasn’t pay off related fees. We will follow up.” I presumed the customer was Indestructable Shoes as they chose SF Express as the delivery company. When I contacted Indestructable Shoes the response was “I’m sorry to hear you are being asked to pay import/custom charges. Please note these charges are being imposed by your country, not by us.” OK, however, any such charges were not disclosed in the order process, there was no notification that delivery was being held for these fees, it was only discovered when I began to research tracking to find a delivery date and time for this purchase made 9-9-2020. Has anyone else had their delivery of shoes from this company stopped for these fees? Did Indestructable Shoes not know of the Import/Custom charges when they agreed to sell them to me? Do all seller/manufacturers not include these in the purchase price? I know we are all paying the tariffs, duties, custom fees on every imported product, dah, they are not punishment to the other country, US consumers pay them, however I have never seen a consumer being asked to pay these fees separate from the purchase price. BTW no one has told me the amount owed. No party has told me what it takes to complete delivery. I no longer care. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and Indestructable Shoes for a refund, this could takes many weeks. These look like great shoes if one could get a total purchase price and a completed delivery.

As someone who volunteers in a warehouse, I'm just going to use these as very durable trainers/sneakers for camping and going to the gym in.

I am considering these as water shoes for shoreline work. I have stepped on glass, nails in boards, and metal. They look like they would drain water well and be better than traditional water shoes. Thoughts???

I feel these would be great in the gym for when you drop a weight on your feet not so much work shoes

Thanks for this review. Really informative. I don't often see this kind of review. I'll definitely take a look at their site.

These are on Aliexpress for about $25 and an FYI for anyone that has to deal with OSHA or work sites that require work boots, these will not meet any of those requirements as they are not certified. If you want a more comfortable shoe for shop work these I think would be acceptable.

I have these shoes (or atleast the amazon version) they are versatile and look good, but really aren't comfortable for running or working long shifts on your feet because of the steel toe. Maybe thats because I have wide feet though. Also my sole is already disconnecting from the base 😕. Just letting y'all know if you plan to buy these shoes

Kevlar is a material that when it's punctured the bullet that is spinning its way through the Kevlar, the Kevlar acts as if it's wrapping itself around the bullet to stop it from puncturing your skin. A bulletproof vest rated for 9mm will have 12 layers each once going in different directions in terms of their patterns. So that tiny little sheet on the inside of the shoe doesn't surprise me if a Q-Tip would stab right through it and into your foot.

I wear doc martens Jadon as a carpenter. super comfy and if I stand on a nail sticking out I don't feel it bc the sole is really thick.

Shame I didn't see all the negative reviews first, just ordered a pair, cheap on Ebay. Even in everyday use dont think these will last longer than 6 months before the sole wears out or stitches come off....

I’m looking for a shoe or boot with a steel toe and puncture resistant. Yesterday I stepped on a piece of glass and it went through my work boot

This guy seems to be the only one that mentions that the steel toe adds weight, every other reviewer is like “wow so light and flexible”.

They run big, and after only a few times wearing them I have a slice across the top, the fabric is not nearly as strong as it looks. Was really hoping for better than that.
