AnyBody patient specific Knee Model with soft tissue

Short presentation of the detailed healthy knee model as presented at Nolte et al. ORS 2013.
A subject specific healthy knee model was developed using bone geometries from medical imaging. Additionally, soft tissue as cartilage, menisci and ligaments were added to the model. A Knee-Bend motion was simulated. During the knee flexion, a sliding and a rotation motion could be observed. The model shows promising results, further validation is ongoing.
