Hi, Just had a chance to watch your recorded live video. Didn't catch it when you went live. I love your lessons. They are inspiring. I am just now getting back into painting watercolors after a 20+ year delay due other things like working 14 hour days. I have now retired and plan to start painting again. I have purchased your Craftamo brush set. and plan to use this video to experiment with the brushes along with the others I have stockpiled over the years. Thank you for making the video lessons. I love what you do. Sincerely, Tim

I love how the flowers turn out with your oval wash. I have your brushes and will try this.

I think your choice of brushes depends on what you are most comfortable with. Kristy Rice is the dagger and liner brush queen. Ellen Crimi Trent does amazing things with wash brushes. I’m not an artist but I find round brushes the easiest to use so far. However, that’s not going to stop me trying to work with any others.

Shoot, I missed the live but so happy to be able to watch after. Give yourself grace, Emma. Being a mom is an adventure that, for the most part, is the most rewarding experience a woman can have albeit some days you just want to pull out your hair. 😂 So glad you're figuring it all out. You're right, all of it comes in phases and you do get through it. Thank you for sharing your talent and for being such an amazing teacher.

I would love to see a dagger striper with a larger belly, specifically made for watercolors; The larger belly would allow for more water/pigment to be carried when using and making leaves with dagger stripers with fine tips is heaven.

I have grown to love a dager and liber brush after watching Kristy Rice and now I love them. I used to stick to round brushes and am enjoying branching out.

If you use the long thin brush you will find they make wonderful straight, lines or loops.

I love my liner brush for details, like the long stamen in different types of flowers or fur

I recently started playing with a dagger brush. You can do so many things with it. I've also used a filburt for flowers, and a liner brush for fine details

Hi, Emma! I hope you, Myles and the rest of your lovely Family are doing well.
I'm originally from Panamá but live in Virginia, US. I watch your channel as much as possible, and because of you I took on myself to learned Watercolors painting. Im not as wonderful as you!
Anyhow, you inspire me to draw more and try to paint my drawings. Thank you!
Hopefully sometime in the nearest future, I should be able to get your brushes, and try some of the paints and products you use.
Well, I enjoy this tutorial as much as all the others. Take good care and will continue to pray for you, and your Little Family, see your channel and continue to learn more!

This gets better. It is overwhelming. I’m raised my daughters with a wonderful husband in Arizona (crazy hot). We had each over no family close. Now I’ve retired just so I can care for my grandsons, 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Boys are harder than girls. It could be that I was only in my late 20s and, now I’m in my 60s. I wouldn’t give my time with the boys up for anything. You have this, and I hope you’ll remember when your boys have children. You can be a Grammy nanny. It’s the best.
