# 17 Phil Mogg
I feel blessed that I saw UFO finally and for the first time a few weeks before Phil Mogg suffered from his heart attack which led to the end of this band. UFO were one of the first bands that grabbed my intention as a teenager and it was especially (go figure!) their space rock-album which I listened to a million times and still love today.
Best albums: One Hour Space Rock (UFO 2), Force It, No Heavy Petting
Best song: I’m a loser
# 18 John Wetton
# 19 Chris Thompson
# 20 Michael Sadler
# 21 Gary Brooker
# 22 Bruce Dickinson
# 23 Paul McCartney
# 24 Ozzy Osbourne
# 25 Donald Fagen
# 26 Karen Carpenter
# 27 Robert Plant
# 28 Warren Zevon
# 29 Sting
# 30 Roger Hodgson
# 31 Barry Hay

Amazing pick, Pete! I love Dennis DeYoung- he's coming up soon, and curiously I think my favorite DDY albums and song are almost a carbon copy of your choices today. I never deliberately copy you, but I think on this one we seem to be pretty close if not exact in our choices. My pick for day17 is Geddy Lee. Even though my college buddies used to joke about early Geddy Lee sounding like a munchkin, I especially loved that era, before he became self-conscious and tempered his vocal range. Favorite albums: A Farewell to Kings, All the World's A Stage, Hemispheres. Favorite song: "Anthem."

Again, good afternoon (evening, night or morning), Pete. Another fine SoT selection for this episode. Personal pick today (or for this episode)? Again, being brief on commentary since catching up on these episodes and choices are not in any order. Stephen Stills of Buffalo Springfield, various incarnations of Crosby, Stills, Nash and/or Young, Manassas, solo, etc. Deja Vu remains a favorite album and enjoy the vocals of all four of the CSNY crowd but Stills gets the nod for the moment. The three albums? Well, personal discussions include Deja Vu a lot so skipping that one for three eponymous debuts - Crosby, Stills & Nash; Manassas and the first solo album ostensibly titled Stephen Stills. Song? Johnny's Garden from the Manassas debut. This is a softer song and doesn't show all the strengths of his voice, but a personal favorite nonetheless. Thanks, Pete. Think this catches me up so looking forward to the next episode.
