I remember taking the springs of worn out pens I would use. They would just fit around the harpoon guns from the Atlantis sets I got and would shoot really well! Problem was trying to find them after I shot them lol

fun fact, lego "ninja sword" is actually a nodachi, coz it's about as tall as the minifigure, i'm kind of using a definition of a greatsword for this
