Restoring a HACKED UP 5.9 ZJ | Rear IRO Install

First step in restoring my hacked up 5.9 ZJ is to tear out the previous owners DIY rear suspension, and replace it with the Iron Rock Off road rear 4 link kit.

Derek, great to see new content and killer job on the 4 link installation! I cant believe how beefy that IRO crossmember is and the long arms, truss etc 💪 they make bulletproof lift kits and parts. so cool!

I should mention I just picked up a 2000 WJ with 100K miles! life is good 😎🍻

Glad to see the ole ZJ getting some love. Huge fan of IRO also. Just wish they could hire a few more to help with shipping stuff out. Quality and customer service though are top notch. Been changing all my RC joints with IRO stuff as well as things like the track bar. Thinking about doing the Trail Forged full 4 link front and rear kit on my WJ though. Keep it up! Nice to see a new video ;)

Would have made more sense to cut the bolts with saws-all and keep the arms unbroken.

Derek, Great to see you end up with a ZJ five nine. I wanted something similar to my XJ but with a plush interior and more power so I've been looking at these as well. Love playing in the Ozarks when I get the chance. Do you have a video that shows the interior? What are you going to do for the spare tire? Love the content!

Looks great, can you extend the exhaust out to the bumper? I have considered the IRO kit for my ZJ, but don't want a cutoff exhaust.
