This was the first match I ever saw that made me sad and disappointed😭
Kane was always my favorite wrestler growing up, and my little self was SO CERTAIN he was gonna win. I remember WM23 was the first PPV I could watch live on TV, and when Khali was slammed I freaked out. Then Kane lost anyway and I was so disappointed! I remember the next time WWE came to town, my dad took me to the show and I brought a sign that said "My dad can beat Khali's butt!"
My poor old papa was gonna get revenge for him making me sad at WrestleMania. We took WWE so seriously and looking back, it was such good memories. I never grew out of it! ❤
