Old school GX always wins from just the experience alone! I pulled a 1st Ed Ghost Rainbow Dragon from a TAEV blister from Walmart when the pack first released that i immediately put in a sleeve and top loader. Still have it to this day! The nostalgia from this opening is insane! I can still see the looks of disbelief on my friends’ faces 😂 thank you so much Ruxin for this amazing content ❤

Stopping right after the more recent GX packs to say that I think the older sets have it beat, only if the pulls are good. Between GLAS, TAEV and EEN, even just a couple really good cards can be worth a lot more. Even more so if you manage something like the TAEV misprints or Cyber Blader in Ultimate Rare

im surprised you didnt mention the 1st edition run on TAEV introduced Counter Counter as normal trap which is spell speed 2 and can not be activated in response to a counter trap at spell speed 3 so in the unlimited prints it is changed to a counter trap, random fun bit of yugioh history trivia!

If you pull that ghost rate misprint from GLAS or any of the secret rare cards that are expensive (I.e., Magic Formula) that would be insane and it would definitely win!

Love GX Era packs honestly. I'm just a little bummed that with all these reprint packs they never reprint GX the things I woukd do for a reprint cybernetic revolution reprint (with ultis of course) but big fan of Legendsry collection 2 and ra yellow mega pack.
