Pipeline: The Surf Coaster front seat on-ride 5K POV @60fps SeaWorld Orlando

Standing 110 feet (34m) tall, this new-for-2023 B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) Surf Coaster is a prototype that shifts the seats of riders up and down during the ride cycle. Reaching speeds of up to 60 mph (97 km/h) thanks to its LSM (Linear Synchronous Motor) launch, it also features a corkscrew, a horseshoe, as well as 360° and 270° helices.
This SeaWorld park is located in Orlando, Florida.

Just got to experience this coaster today, and it completely blew me away. Did not expect the airtime to be as good as it was.

Just rode this. It is more intense than it looks! The moving seats really do emphasize the airtime. The positives were stronger than expected, especially at 0:55 where they don’t let up until the next airtime hill. That moment usually causes me to grey out.

I just had the opportunity to ride this today. It is very deceptive. I’ve seen people talk about the air time, but to experience it for myself… 🤯 This thing is amazing!!! Never thought I’d ride a stand-up coaster that I would enjoy this much. 😊

my personal opinion on this ride! for my people who are afraid of the stomach drop feeling:

you don’t have to worry! i am a coaster chicken and the only times that i felt my stomach drop was around 0:46, and the launch. the launch was a bit interesting because it wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be. you truly do not have to be afraid. this ride feels so smooth, you literally almost feel nothing lol!! 100% recommend, have a blast on this amazing ride! :)

Phenomenal ride. You get the weightless airtime a lot but so strapped in it’s comfortable and easy to love and go with the flow of it. Plus I love propulsion starts vs gravity

Looks to be a fun ride, probably feels very much like San Antonio’s Wave Breaker as far as speed and intensity goes.

So after riding it 2 times I have to say this is a fun new coaster but there are some minor flaws. The positives of this coaster is great air time and very smooth with good speed. I am at the maximum height limit and the first time I rode I straight legged it and man the force makes it feel like you are doing squats and my quads felt it. Second time bent the knees a little bit and it felt more fun. The negatives of this ride is for guys… you’re gonna need to adjust before pulling that shoulder strap down cause the seat between your legs will not feel good if you know what I mean. Also once you are done with the ride the wait to unload for the next coaster to run can be brutal as it is out in the sun with no shade and in the summers when it is +90’s degrees it can be a bit miserable. The second time they had a technical issue so had to wait 10 minutes out in the Sun and it was rough. Pretty sure a few people almost passed out. Overall great ride

Tip:Go when the park opens. The line will be about 45-60 minutes at most. When I got to the other side it was at 120 minutes I believe. Also, before you get in line for the carts on the stairs at 2:16, you want to ask to get front row seats. Some fast pass people asked and ruined it for us 😂.

I loved this ride. The first launch was insane and the feeling of floating. It was so good my only complaint was the ride seats was so uncomfortable especially for your shoulders but I would definitely ride again.

Im 11 turning 12 in december and my first and only actual coaster was pipeline with my bestie♥️ and i had my eyes closed everytime i felt the airtime but it was so fun. So next time were gonna try again
