Wow! I just found the clip, which shows how great the value this song to both of them. I remember that “Eyes of Love” was the first song I know about Q’s arrangement and Toots playing chromatic harmonica in 1973. I tried to play it with my Chromonica 64 nine years later, and I still enjoy playing that song now. Thank you so much, Stéphane.

It melts my heart watching this. To have a genius like Q declare you the equal of Charlie Parker is the greatest accolade anyone could receive. I see Toots' beautiful wife standing behind him, brushing tears from her eyes as Q conveys his wonderful compliment. Toots may no longer be with us, but his amazing legacy is. I note he has handed the runes over to his puppy. Thank you Stephane for making this treasure.

Toots, in his message to Quincy, seemed to say "who needs words when we have music". Quincy understood. What a great interchange between two of the all-time greats!
