Vercel and Nvidia AI are hosting the world’s shortest hackathon – it's just two hours long – and the prizes for winning are Nvidia GPUs signed by Jensen Huang.

Two hours means that, unlike most hackathons, there won't be any sleep loss or crimes against hygiene for participants, just two hours of AI-powered building. It’s being put on in San Francisco on November 21st, 2024, and the reason Vercel and Nvidia AI are putting this on is because AI has gotten so good at writing code that they believe you only need two hours to build something amazing (with the right prompts).

This hackathon is only open to 50 teams of two and it’s an offline event so a large majority of the teams accepted will likely be based in America. There will be live mentoring from Vercel and Nvidia AI experts during the hackathon, and the judging criteria will be innovation, functionality, and presentation. Whether you're excited about winning these Nvidia GPUs signed by Jensen Huang or not, this definitely seems like it's going to be an interesting event.
