I feel like the design took a massive step back. The MK4 looked like you were indestructible. The MK5 looks like a regular non-motorcycle winter glove. When my MK4 pods wear out, I'll buy the MK4 gloves.

As someone who's had three pairs of Mk3s and now onto the Mk4 (I like to crash a lot), really not enthused about losing the inner side wrist protection. Yes, it's bulky. But like Spurg says, it's designed as an intentionally bulky glove, it's supposed to keep you safe above all else.
Other than that, wish they'd make a white colourway like the previous gen. Yellow gloves don't work on my blue bike. In the meantime I'll be trying not to crash again, at least not until Knox releases the Mk6.

I bought this like a month ago. The Visor Shop has this for $270 and gets you this to your door for $300. $330 is higher price tag.

Unsolicited pro tip. When reviewing black gloves, wear a white shirt, or use a light coloured back ground. Otherwise, an interesting podcast.

For focusing on protection and the high price I’m suprised they don’t have level 2 CE certification.

I picked up a pair of the Handroid MK4 a few months ago on clearance and they’ve been my favorite pair ever since. While the upper/interior pod is useless, having an off while wearing a pair of Alpinestars SP5 mid-cuff proved that ulna protection is everything. I didn’t even scuff my watch. I considered the Pod variant, but I didn’t feel they had enough protection in that area, MK4 or 5. Between the two, the MK5 Handroids would be the winner over the MK4 based on reduced bulk alone.
