It's so adorable the way her accents just keep changing throughout her speech 😂

I think many of us do this, especially those of us who started learning other languages when we were very young.

Omg this happens to me. I mimic accents based on who I’m around with

Edit: there are a lot of miserable and triggered people up in here and you need to get a life, go take care of your kids, your parents yourself but literally get a life.

that eyeliner really suits her. I always thought it was just common to her roles but very pretty in life too

If it's not your first language, it's normal for your accents to shift.

English is my first language and I still find it hard not to pick up accents if I hear it for too long. If I spend a whole day binge watching a series with a foreign accent my thoughts will be in that accent for at least a day or two. When I lived overseas for a couple of years, I started picking up the accent within a month even though I was convinced I wouldn’t.

I tend to mimic accents as well and usually subconsciously 😂

Edit: Thanks to everyone who pointed out it's *subconsciously* and not unconsciously. Good to know. English is not my first language, and there is always something new to learn.

Her father is an Argentine of English and Scottish descent, the son of a British father and an Anglo-Argentine mother. Her mother was born in Zambia to an English diplomat father, David Joy, and a Spanish mother from Barcelona.

When my son was 5 and starting school, one of his classmates had the broadest Scottish accent ever. I asked his Mum how long they had been in Australia, and she said 15 years. Little man spoke in the accent he heard at home. It was funny as he grew up because he was full Aussie at school & with his mates, but broad Scots at home.

I love how unique her accent is. It’s useful though! She can pick up any accent she needs for any role!

I tend to mimic, I think because I grew up around different accents even in my own family. Probably similar to her going from Argentina to England

This is actually relatable. I sometimes mimic my whole personality based on who I'm around at the time to match their energy

It would be a crime against society if no one made a remake of Peter Pan with her as Tinker Bell.

I love that her accent has Irish inflections that she has never lost since working with saoirse ronan.
I love that Rebecca Ferguson has the same from a famous role. It’s just a hint but it’s 🥰
