As a History teacher and someone whos personal interest (when I’m not teaching) is the history of the 19th and 20th century, hearing the phrase “being sent to re-education” sends absolute chills down my spine.

I loved what he had to say on body dysmorphia. I am a mother of a teen autistic girl. She expressed feelings of wanting be a male, we supported it without medication or surgery (cut her hair short, boy clothes, etc) 2 years later she changed her mind. no one should ever rush young people into permanent decisions (surgery/ hormones) They are young and can change their mind. I feel surgery is for adults to decide .. it doesn’t hurt to wait a little bit..

As a Canadian doctor I thank you for fighting the college. The college of physicians is even worse. We have to follow their ideology blindly and not exhibit any opinions of our own

I'm a british man, 30 years old and I'm not ashamed to admit I went off rails 5 years ago and wound up addicted to amphetamine and weed. I've spent 4 years taking drugs and growing debt, working on/off in warehouses and nightclubs and sometimes on the dole. It wasn't until I found jordan petersons content that I embraced responsibility. I now work in an office for Belgiums largest internet service provider and have a happy relationship with a beautiful sweet girl and I'm working on reconnecting with my parents. I owe so much to this mans perspective and it annoys me that people would lie about him

I'm a physician in Ohio and my solo medical practice was forced closed by a divorce court. Around the same time as the closure of my solo practice the medical board of Ohio changed the rules stating that no physician could open a solo practice anymore. To the best of my knowledge I was the Last solo practice office around that had not been bought out by a hospital system. This is one of the reasons a lot of my patients came to me. LIke Mr. Peterson, I had never had any complaints against me, nor any lawsuits in the 20 years I practiced in Ohio. The issue is the solo practitioners are more likely to speak their mind as I frequently did about medical issues I did not agree with.

Canadian teacher here. I certainly have the same concerns in my own profession as you are facing with the college. It is harder than ever to present ideas and challenge thoughts and procedures while not putting your own job at risk. You are fighting for all of us who value freedom of thought and expression both in and out of government organizations. I'm behind you 100%. And you look so vital. What a triumph over adversity you are. Your courage and convictions bring me to tears and light a fire at the same time. Wishing you all the best. I'll be working in my own small corner to follow that "golden thread" of truth as best I can.

Disgracing the profession? I’m a 40 year old woman and apparently I’m meant to hate Jordan but I’ve always absolutely loved him! Because of him I’ve pulled myself out of the darkest depths and completely turned my life around. Whether they take his license or not I would pay to see him over anyone else as I’m sure most of us would

My own therapist gave up his license after being hounded by the same professional board for 8 years. All from one complaint. Never convinced but they hung it over his head for years and he said enough was enough. My Canada has become a mess under its current government and dogma.

As a fellow licensed healthcare professional, this situation is EXTREMELY concerning and should concern EVERYONE. Not just licensed healthcare professionals. The ontario college of psychologists is concerned about his opinions on climate change. Just let that sink in. Edit: clearly by reading some responses to my comment, some individuals have not listened to the entire podcast. Licensing boards punishing those who criticize their political leaders is NOT ok.

1) He allows his guest to share their knowledge.
2) He asks questions we would like to.
3) He is honest about not knowing which allows his guest to explain better so the rest of us sitting back saying Huh? stand a chance to understand.
