George Clooney doesn’t expect his new movie to change your mind

The new George Clooney-directed film Suburbicon takes place in an idyllic 1950s suburb where a family man (Matt Damon) stages a home invasion to get rid of his wife (Julianne Moore), but—shockingly—things go awry. The movie balances the façade of 1950s suburbia with weightier themes like social inequities and racism. But Clooney isn’t really expecting the film to change anyone’s mind.
