Unboxing a Rs.50,000 Chess Set | Should we use this for the Death Match?

At the ChessBase India Chess Club we unboxed the beautiful wooden Chess set that was sent to us by DGT. It was for the winner of the Grandmaster Chess series. The series was won by well-known stand-up comedian Vaibhav Sethia and the board now belongs to him. We are going to give it to him on the day of the ChessBase India Originals death match between Anish Giri and Vidit Gujrathi. But do you think, we should first have the death match on this board and then give it to Vaibhav? Let us know in the comments section below.

It's gonna be great if you keep the board shown in the video for match and then get this board signed by both players and then give it to vaibhav.

this most definately not a bluetooth board, when you showed the side panel, there was no LED light or on/off button, and only the USB-C input port which means it must be a connected to a computer to record moves and display games live to internet via various software. also if you do ask the players to sign the board, i would sugges asking them to sign the edges of the board and not the squares, otherwise overtime the signatures will fade with pieces being slid over signed squares. whereas on the side of the board, the signatures will stay more in tact and will not fade so easily :)
