They should do a special full episode on this kind of thing, with overhead views, those white landscape-computer renders that explain the land moving, and a timelapse of the whole thing, and cut between them all. I'd love to see that.

It is a nice feeling to see responsible mining

I can't believe this. After watching this season and seeing all of the locals that hate mining, I feel like you Dave are missing an opportunity to educate the locals on what you can do. If you could show the locals what your mine sites look like after reclamation then you might have a leg up on the competition. I've always wondered why you don't do a fast-forward show after the season is over of the reclamation process. You could do a final way in of the gold and then cue the fast-forward reclamation, then show what's up for the next season.

Pete.the state of alaska has people that come out and look to make sure you are reclaiming the land properly..if you don't, ,you don't get your permits to mine and they are very passionate about their land

Looks like another show plot. One can only imagine what the rest of the ground they tear up looks like . The ground the cameras don't see.

Looks like they made a mess.. can’t believe he’s proud of that. Looks nothing like natural ground to me

There are federal and provincial laws you tools. You have to have a reclamation plan for your site or they won't let you put a shovel in the ground in the first place.

Me being first Nations/Native American I would suggest just planting some trees in with it. Before you mine you should plant as many trees that we're they're b4. Most mining I do not agree with because they use toxic chemicals etc, but this I don't have an issue with it. It's in the human nature to explore unknown territory, an this is just one of them exploration. But another thing you miners should keep in mind is that these lands are OUR LANDS, And I would recommend talking to the Nations that own it. The Foreign Government's do not own these lands.

Need to bring in some beavers, dam it up and cover the tailing; Canadian beavers work for free, avoid the US beavers, they are often armed.
