Η Λίμνη της Άρνισσας
Μια από τις μεγαλύτερες φυσικές λίμνες της χώρας μας, η Βεγορίτιδα, αν και έχει υποστεί σημαντικές αλλοιώσεις από τις ανθρώπινες δραστηριότητες, εξακολουθεί να αποτελεί ένα από τα σημαντικότερα καταφύγια ορνιθοπανίδας της Βόρειας Ελλάδας. Η Βεγορίτιδα αναφέρεται και ως λίμνη Οστρόβου, ενώ άλλες τρεις ονομασίες της είναι λίμνη Άρνισσας, λίμνη Κέλλη και λίμνη Αγίου Παντελεήμονα. Βρίσκεται στα σύνορα των νομών Πέλλας, Φλώρινας και Κοζάνης και περιβάλλεται από τα όρη Βόρας στα βόρεια....

Lake Arnissa
One of the largest natural lakes in our country, Vegoritida, although it has undergone significant alterations from human activities, is still one of the most important bird species in Northern Greece. Vegoritida is also referred to as Lake Ostrovo, while its other three names are Lake Arnissa, Lake Kelly and Lake St. Panteleimon. It is located on the borders of the prefectures of Pella, Florina and Kozani and is surrounded by the Voras mountains in the north.
