It's so weird that YT hasn't recommended a PGG video to me for ages, yet this one pops up.
In it's heyday, this was the best channel for gaming news. Straight to the point, no bullshit and just standing out from any other similar gaming news content channel.

Yea man....Your channel entirely got lost in the algorithm for me. I forgot you even existed until YouTube put this video on my homepage. Trust me...I feel your pain when I read the same kind of comments on my channel.

YouTube and content creation is tough in general. Generally the older a channel is the more they have the issue of just fading out of people's sub boxes. Naturally your content will change over the years and people will lose interest...that's fine...but it does really suck how it works against you in the new YouTube era of the recommended videos.

Man it makes me sad that YouTube's reckless algorithm changes made this channel unsustainable. I'm gonna be completely real for a sec here. I was an avid watcher of PGG back in your hayday, literally watched every video on this channel when it was you Gareth, Mike and then Jake.. You were easily my favourite channel, whatever you posted I was watching it. But then came that time when you had to part ways, after that it just wasn't the same so I found myself not clicking on the videos from my favourite channel. I would watch one here and there sure but nothing like I used to. Same thing with the content that Mike, Jake & Liam went on to make with Special Moves, it wasn't the same without you Gareth, so I never tuned into that either. That original group was really something to me.

As time went on your videos stopped popping up on my feed, but for whatever reason this video was front and center right now. I consider it a massive tragedy that PGG fell apart like it did, in my mind anyway. The fact that the youtube algorithm or whatever it is can totally turn peoples lives upside down like this is devastating, there is so much happening behind the scenes you just have no way of controlling, this isn't the first channel I have seen suffer from this.

I wish you all the best going forward Gareth. BTW I will never unsubscribe, I have so many memories on this channel (parasocial relationships and nostalgia is kinda my forte). And who knows maybe the youtube gods will bless this channel again. I will keep checking back.
