That’s how I used to tape my sticks back in the day. I used roughly 2/5 of a skinny roll. The other side was used for a knob. It works pretty well.

thats how i do it. just rip the tape in half. it feels like you get more spin on the puck to me. doesn’t make my hands good tho. haha

That’s a pretty normal thing in the 90s and early 2000s in the north west like Montana Utah Washington lol

Edit: if I remember correctly my teammate would tear the tape in half and tape with .5 inch strips
