I actually really like this idea. As it stands, the woodcutting guild is kind of in a tough spot. On one hand I enjoy it when there's a lot of people there, it makes me feel like less of a loser chopping trees in a 20 year old game when I see other people also chopping trees in a 20 year old game.

The single point of making it less of an issue when more than one person is on a tree is honestly enough for me to enjoy the skill. Just because we play old school doesn't mean we shouldn't update poorly performing skills, especially if they are more or less useless in their current state.
