Ep3. Adding Tropical Fish To 15 Gallon Fish Bowl

My 15 gallon fish bowl aquarium has been established for over 3 months now. Plants are fully established and trimmed a few times. 600 Liter per hour internal aquarium filter is fully cycled and doing a great job in filtering and circulating water. The only thing missing is some aquarium fish and now is the right time to add some tropical fish to the 15 gallon fish bowl aquarium.

Since it is a fish bowl aquarium, I have decided to go with some small tropical fish. Neon tetra do not usually grow to big sizes so I have got a bunch of them. They look amazing swimming in a school. Kuhli loaches are bottom dwellers and are part of the cleaning crew. I have also added couple of golden mystery snails to keep the aquarium tidy.

Dear Fishaholic:
What is the temperature of the water? I wouldn’t expect neon tetra to do well without a heater.
Did the Kuhli loach devour the live blackworms? I doubt the neons could manage any.
