This relationship for me was the most important one. I wasnt effected by lori and rick or glenn and Maggie..this one was the most interesting and seemed to happen organically, the energy between the actors was what made it so special, their chemistry on screen was just natural.

Only carol in all her pain and past could bring Daryl out of his shell. She was like the soul mate he needed at that time. They both had trauma and triggers that the other understood. I think if this was real life they would be completely trauma bonded at this point as well snd would probably choose not to seperate for any reason.
