Thanks for that insight into building a swim on the inside on a carp puddle bud, recently started fishing one and the margins are a problem for me, this opened my mind a bit more
I've had 3 3rds in the last months Monday matches, its great fun, even though i find it fun, i find it hard to hold concentration, watching the fish on top in the weeds sucking away at whatever, it totally distracts me, i probably loose a hour every match watching them feed, its bloody hypnotic 😖 hahaha, i dont have an answer for it i just love nature more than fishing, part of the reason i dropped match fishing originally, anyway bud the video might help, will let you know.

You should fish Norwood fishery in killamarsh Sheffield, me and my mate went yesterday and he had 17 carp on pole and I had 20 on bomb and pellet

Love the method down the edge, very effective way of catching these days, prefer a feeder chair to a box now as my poorly back wont stand it, much less foul hookers on the method
