Linn LK1 faulty preamp

Just inherited this Linn system from the widow of a very dear friend that passed away 13 years ago. She would love it if I could get it going so we could listen to his favourite tunes again and have a good cry
unfortunately the preamp is faulty and
any advice on how to get it sorted would be appreciated

Linn LK1 preamp
Linn LK280 power amp
Linn Index speakers

No I gave up in the changed all the capacitors and it didn't work
There is a big ic that you can't get hold of so i binned the lk1.
I still have the two LK280 amps but not using them.
I bought a Linn Intek amp and a pair of Linn Isobariks
Will look out for a lk1 one day
