Given that the African continent has recently been a "center of innovation" for new construction techniques, the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Africa Summit 2023 aimed to highlight the digital advancement of the construction industry and its impact on sustainability.
The future of ‘BIM’, often referred to as “Connected BIM” involves leveraging more out of the end to end use of models through cloud technology.
“Africa is known to have a very robust and vast young population.. so our advice is for young people to get involved in these new technologies and go beyond the edge”, he commented.
