Almost 2M but it lacks power-folding side mirrors, traditional cruise control, and an aftermarket head unit... a far cry from what the previous generation LS-A offered at just P1.358M. Not to mention almost all of its closest competitors have advanced driving assist systems already.

Isuzu, truly tried & tested pure diesel engines.

Agree with the slow take-off. Isuzu should tune that engine in their next refresh or adapt something similar to Toyota's Eco/Power mode.

I love that in their hubris, brands are pricing SUVs out of reach of most people. Maybe they should go back to making nice sedans and wagons again.

Plastic back door is really poor for Isuzu to do although it may save production cost, maintaining and more-over the safety is compromised.
