Not going to mention the aircraft carrier submarine made by Japanese in WW2? I400 project proposed and led by Admiral Yamamoto himself until he was killed by U.S in an air battle. With only 3 subs made, the plan was to make 18 of em, each carrying and deploying 2 propeller driven water crafts (state of the art for it's time) which could have simulated an invisible aircraft carrier, nobody could have sunk it in a single blow?

Shame.
