Amazing! I performed this in junior high (in 9th grade!) in 2002 with my school choir at a competition and we took first place! We made people cry, I will never forget it!

Excellent performance. I did this in college (in 1973) at Cal State University Long Beach when the piece was still very new. Frank Pooler (choir director at CSULB) edited the American publications of many works by Scandinavian composers such as Hovland and Nystedt, and we did the first performances of many of their works. (Our narrator did not "act out" the part like yours does, though.) I will still singing baritone then (moved to tenor a year later) and remember having a challenge with the long extended low Gs in the soft section.
