What I see is a woman with an influential opportunity to acknowledge the violation of humanitarian rights of her people and she is standing up even with all this hate and anger directed specifically at her. Finally someone standing up for peace and social justice instead of promoting division, hate, and racism. Not everyone liked activists like MLK Jr. or Ghandi, but it takes courage to speak out. We used to be a nation that stood for humanitarianism. I applaud this woman.
