I like this guy giving credit to those who helped him along the to see that very often in these days of massive athletic egos. Even Joe Namath has, as he has gotten older, been very upfront about giving credit to where he came from.

A comment got deleted about OSU 4 star recruits compared to WSU fcs transfers. Buf if you actually look, aside from the QB, the OSU transfers were 4 star recruits coming out of high school but not as a transfer. They are transferring to Oregon state from a power conference for a reason. They couldn't earn time on the field. I would rather have an experienced FCS guy that competed for championships than an overrated recruit from a power conference with no college experience. The other part of it is OSU is a year ahead with the coaching change and have had time to recruit players from many different schools.
