yeah the cash grab most churches are nowadays is disgusting. i’m a pastor’s son, my dad recently took over a church, and building back up from the horrible environment that was left to us was a horrible problem

It’s sad most churches are like this. I recently started going to church with my best friend and at her church they let people give money because they are trying to build more churches and schools and stuff like that to expand their community. It warms my heart tbh

Some churches do this. Not all churches give the decon and pastor money to buy cars and everything. When they give tides and offering it suppost to build the church like, paying the bills, getting better speakers, getting better mics, get food to make for the homeless and things like that. I used to have this mindset until i was doing the tides and offering and realized what it really is. The most people that said its all churches have never stepped in the church and realize what it supposed to be used for.

My moms mother saved 2-3k checks for the church while she saw my mom struggle and move from motel to motel. That lady was never involved in our lives and eventually lost contact with us. Now that shes older and in need of care, shes treating us like were angels and wants us to coddle her. TF. I dont have a grandma- Grandma who? pfft.
