African Sista Asks, Why Are Black Americans In A Place Where We're Not Wanted?

Phillip Scott reports on a Sista from the motherland admonishing us to come to African nations where we won't be discriminated against for our color. She also says it's Africa is our birthright.

I'm from Nigeria and my take is this: African Americans should strive to have dual citizenship like we Nigerians.choose the African Country you wanna have. Properties are very cheap in Africa, save some dollar, with $50k you can get yoyrself a nice piece of comfortable property. Come home at least once a year to cool off and relax..Very good for your mental health..

I Live in a Section of the BX, that have Many Africans, and they Don't Make Any Attempts or Give any Indications, or Interests in Interacting with Black Americans. The Exceptions Don't Make the Rule.

Aren't parts of Africa under WS control as well? I'm all for people going to Africa if you want to but you have to research where you're going. Some of us have this fantasy that the whole continent of Africa is a paradise for Black people. I just don't want people to make any rash decisions.

The US *is* the Motherland for Black Americans. We're a foundational population in the US and not affirming this history is disgustingly disrespectful to our ancestors who literally and figuratively gave their lives to be a community.

The hell with what European Americans(that's what I call immigrants with European ancestry, I only group those with Colonial American roots into "American Whiteness.") think of us, we have more authentic "American" origins than they ever will. Stop "searching for a home, " the US is our home! We're as American as it gets and we should be proud of that heritage!

I went to Kenya back in February and I’ve never felt that level of peace. I will be going back in June and I can’t wait!!!
