Oil still does spawn, as rare as in vanilla. Also, i would really recommend getting all the crafting benches. And as usual, Enjoy our mod!

Refinebot is not until you get a blueprint, which I think it's either near the end of the HQ or the place after it

you should craft all the benches, and the smeltery too, smeltery almost multiplies your ore gain

Soil plasement on any surface is long gone... and i mean LONG. If you like you can try editing files to enable but it takes time and not every tutorial works.

When you get back to the workbenches compare the item usage for making metal in each I think you will notice a difference in material cost

"If you remember correctly", I don't like to be the bad guy, but you remember nothing. This mod changed the whole survival game. Nothing is at it was before not even the planet or your opponents. 😅
Why should there be a road? Forterra hadn't build a lot, it was selling the planet again. So find out, what secret the planet and Forterra keeps. By the way I'd like to find out too.😂
