I like when you share slides. Would you consider making them full screen when you share slides. Hard to see some of details when it’s in the corner. Thanks!!!

solitude and solitude deprivation are my current favorite topics, so it’s good to see you talking about it

10:43 in context of the topic, yes it’s fair to suggest that solitude time is a pillar of one’s inner development.

However it should not be assumed that it is the only nor is it the primary pathway to inner development. That dominant pathway is parental/familial modelling and guidance and secondarily the wider society, cultures we are embedded in. People are not formed in a vacuum. Even in said solitude, we are grappling with ideas and models inherited from others. Even the fact that we reflect in a language reflects this connection. We don’t think our way to a healthy, developed self. We are nurtured.

Said futures are being destroyed because in the present and in the past, our hearts are not full. Our brains now go into overdrive trying to solve this hard problem. So cue the meditation apps, hacks, scrolling to find something to take the edge off the numbness, the pain, the dazed sense of being lost

One of the problems with solitude these days is that people have too much solitude. Most of their “social” interaction is just through technology. We need space to think, but I think these days we also need a LOT more quality face-to-face time.

I am in my early 20s and I am still in university; never had a permanent job. My question to Cal is if he would still recommend that I do not participate in cultivating the social media image especially at the beginning of my career because it seems to matter a lot how 'out there' you are nowadays.

19:11 If you don't get paid to be saying things online, stop posting things online 👏

I learned this lesson the hard way the late half of my twenties. I felt I had to cater to this followship hovering around 1.5 k, and it was a worthless waste of time that almost brought me to a mental breakdown. The stuff I was saying and doing didn't reflect my real personality and struggles, and it brought zero value to my life

Carry on young people, the adults are more children than teenagers denying the reality & changing definitions & terms to suit their flawed deceitful arguments.

Hey Cal, can you try introducing your book sales bit between sentences or even between ideas? Not just cutting yourself in the middle of a sentence because that whole point you were trying to make is then lost.
