they don't read to their kids. they just sit them in a corner. if your parents read to you you were one of the lucky ones. I'm sorry that everyone in your school was so virulently anti-intellectual. You need to start shaming these mothers and fathers that sit their babies in the corner instead of reading to them and talking to them. It ain't right to neglect a small child.
