Deoxys Battle (Pokemon) Metal Guitar Cover

This one is interesting as it's one of the only themes that was written for a specific Pokemon, which is kind of ironic considering how difficult it was to encounter Deoxys back in 3rd gen. Of course this has changed with the release of the ruby/sapphire remakes, which has exposed more people to this great theme. This is also probably the most work I've put into a single cover. I really wanted to convey the dark/mysterious nature of the music, and I took some liberties with the arrangement in order to do so. Hope you enjoy!

This piece is flawless, the electric guitar is the perfect medium for reorchestrating this theme. The improvised portion is a work of genius and it was a really important addition which turned the original song, which is meant to play endlessly in a loop, into a complete piece with a climax. The energy never wanes right up to the end. Stuff like this makes Dr. Pez one of if not the top of all VGM performers on the platform.

This is insane. Omg that solo interlude, and the way it reverts back to the main theme.
