Pokemon DPPt - Legendary Trio Battle, Metal Guitar Cover

So far 2015 has been about finishing up old projects on hold - the drum track for this one was written a whopping 3 years ago, and surprisingly, was good enough to use without changing anything. I went about recording this one in a slightly different way in that I started tracking instruments without having a concrete arrangement. This ended up producing some cool spur-of-the-moment ideas, and I think I might start using this way more in the future.

About the song itself: one of my fondest memories from 4th gen Pokemon was encountering Mesprit in the wild and hearing this music: The initial confusion of silence accompanying a wild encounter, followed by realization after the music fades in...

One thing you gotta appreciate about roaming legendaries- they're the only Pokémon where you can enjoy the Quick Ball's improved catch rate while throwing it at something that's been weakened. Also, this is freaking awesome and I love it.
