FILM DESCRIPTION:
Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) recruits Jim Street (Colin Farrell) to join an elite unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. Together they seek out more members, including tough Deke Kay (LL Cool J) and single mom Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez). The team's first big assignment is to escort crime boss Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez) to prison. It seems routine, but when Montel offers a huge reward to anyone who can break him free, criminals of various stripes step up for the prize.

It's actually cool that you see and hear the casings rolling on the ground when the phone is thrown and dragged, a lot of modern movies replaced blank firing with CGI and the cases disappear once they go out of frame.

0:02 fun fact, those SWAT dudes bringing in the phone were actually real life LAPD SWAT officers, whom were there as technical advisors for the film and they got to wear their uniforms to take part “for fun”

One of my favorite movies when I was younger that also had my favourite dvd special feature. For those who don't know, the DVD special feature showed multiple guns in a gun cage and whatever you chose, a trained crew would showcase that gun and explain in detail the specifics of it. Dam, just thinking about it is bringing back some good memories of my youth 😂
