What about the homeless veterans, living on the streets! Many are decorated veterans.

So, no hostility towards these refugees like there has been towards Syrians, Iraqis, Mexican and Central American refugees fleeing gang wars and chaos, etc. Even going all the way back to Vietnamese and Korean refugees.

The kids need you no sense in destroying their world further and putting all the burden on your wife. I admire and respect that you chose your family and I know how difficult it is to leave. You have a lot to offer the world still and you will keep doing so. Above all we are all humans and sharing this earth. We should all be fighting for Ukraine but we are not. This is so amazing! I’m happy our Eastern European people are coming here, l’m a child of immigrants (now adult) as well. And I’m so happy to see our people and culture moving to the USA!!!

I'm glad to see that the majority of the comments here are supportive. I just wish the same response had been had towards Syrian refugees and their families.
