Zyl can be used in frames combined with metal just fine. Shuron's Ronsir Zyl frames, which are the original iconic browline style, use zyl. I have a pair from the '60s that still look good.

This video is full of wrong information and misinformation regarding the acetate production process and the acetate frame production process. The term Zyl also known as Zylonite is the same as cellulose acetate also known as Acetate. These are both the same materials. Please check your facts.

Can I fix my broken plastic eyeglasses frame with polymethylmethacrylate resin ?? I have that as I'm a dental student and we use it to make dentures .
