How to Defeat Door Guardian in Lies of P (Easy Kill)

Door Guardian is one of the hardest bosses in Lies of P and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

I struggled with this boss first play more than any other boss. Key is patient. When you’re shock meter is up keep a distance and use throwable. Soon as you remove shock go again. Never attack when shocked or your just died. No stamina means you cant evade. No one hated this prick more than me and in hindsight he isn’t too bad. Patients!!! He only needs 7-8 hit to drop before you can use your downed attack.

I struggled with this boss for a while. I eventually ended up playing around with some different amulet builds and found a winner that I used to defeat this prick. I used bone-cutting sawblade +10 which does fairly decent stagger damage which is what you want for this fight but is still quick enough to get some hits in. I used destruction grindstone to get extra stagger damage on his left leg at the beginning of the fight. I used indomitable amulet which gives decent shock resistance. I also used patience amulet to aid in stamina recovery which seems to be a big issue with this particular fight. However the MVP was the dancing ones amulet which allows you to roll when you are completely out of the stamina which happens a lot in this fight.

Worst game design boss and just plain stupid in whole game, can get him down to hardly any health left then he corners you in wall and game doesn't let you move at all

I am constantly shocked into oblivion, even with max resistance. Been trying for probably 2 hours and cannot recognize any of his telegraphed attacks, they are too random and quick - especially laying on the ground, shocked, unable to get up for 5 seconds while he ground pounds me. Wouldn't be too terrible except it's 2 minutes running back to this 'boss.' It's fucking lame - unable to get him to get staggered even once.

For anyone who wants an easy time with this boss fight, use the salamander dagger with the crystal spear handle hits really fast and helped me beat him in about 2 min.

I’ve just beat him. Honestly, it felt like RNG luck more than anything. He gave me just enough time between his attacks to let me find the rhythm. I staggered him twice and used critical attack twice and that was enough to kill him

+5 bramble curved sword
technique amulet
blue guardianship amulet
arch extra heavy frame
Belford Superior Insulation Convertor
Belford shock cartridge
workshop union spaced armor liner

Hey Ooges. Thanks for the tips. I found that shock is why I was slower than grandma in the bathroom in the winter. I remedied that. I equipped the LADA shock cartridge and it reduced the shock I got. It turned that fight around like a bedsheet. If you get hit you go into shock and your stamina will hardly recover. Yes, rolling into the attacks helped a bunch. Got Em Only took 8 tries. LOL

I got him. Basically once you do the critical make sure you have a fire abrasive on your sword, does a lot more damage and it will only take two criticals to get him.

Yet again Ogles coming thru with the goods! Also I spammed shot puts and saw blades at his leg to slightly shorten the second phase. 2 fatal attacks and he was down, this guy gave me SO much trouble! Thanks! ❤

Literally all you have to do is go to the tree and rebuild with an advance build. He is weak to fire. Get the salamander blade and be patient. It only takes two times for him to fall and for you to attack his head with a fatle kill and he’s dead. That’s why the game allows you to do rebuilds for gold coin fruit. Same as Elden ring. Find the bosses weakness and go after it
