Why India Keeps Its Cities So Short

Even though skyscrapers started out in the United States, they became tremendously popular in Asia.
In total, the continent has over 7,500 skyscrapers. Asia has the largest population in the world, and their economy is boosting. So, growing high is a perfect solution to fit as many people as possible in its cities. But, close to China, there’s also India, having almost the same population, and most of their skyscrapers are located in one city, Mumbai. So why doesn’t India build skyscrapers if it’s such a great way to accommodate people?

Bright Side logic - We are not getting views... lets put India on thumbnail and give wrong info and images about India in 20 sec and then lets talk about everything else and... voila... we have a tsunami of views

I love both skyscrappers and non skyscrappers City. Both has advantages and disadvantages. Skyscrappers gives you modern feel while blocking long distance natural view. Non skyscrappers gives you freedom of air flow and natural beauty, birds sounds, wind etc etc which is most important.

Skycrapers are amazing, there's no much skycrapers here in Northen Europe But i know there IS one skycraper in Helsinki. I've heared a astory Finnish peoples Have Been building first skycrapers in United States. Wooded skycrapers are interesting buildings too and wooded towers. Skycrapers are truly amazing but i think humanity ever builds a skycraper what's over one kilometre up The Sky, IT would Be possible but hard to Believe its happening. What If we're builds skycraper over space. 🌃🌌

I didn't see much on "Why India Keeps Its Cities So Short". I saw "A History and Counting of Skyscrapers", but India was only a footnote in the video.

It's because they want the people to live like rats. Small roads, no parking spaces, sky high prices, small homes and terrible environment. The FSI limit was intended to prevent overcrowding. It only made it worse

"India strictly regulates the construction due to health and safety"??? loll man, most things in india are built illegally by bribing. Wherever you find a small open place, construction begins illegally. Legal constructions are rare.

Economy is booming. But you can’t breathe in their cities. They have stores that specializes in masks.

The reason why India keeps their buildings so small. Cuz when an earthquake happens in India... The earthquake is so strong the Earth collapses😂

Simple. India doesn't have money for that.
