Hi, Doyle. I don't know if you'll remember me or not, but I was your first guitar teacher back when you were 12 years old in Fort Worth. I am so proud of all you have accomplished since then. You were, no doubt, a child prodigy and the most promising student I have ever taught. My only record, a 45 rpm, was also your first record. At 12 years old you played drums on the session because the drummer I had hired didn't show up. As my most promising student, I had invited you to come watch me do a recording session, thinking maybe it might inspire you further. Little did I know you would wind up saving the day. Your dad said that it was your first time to ever even enter a studio, and he was awfully proud of the job you did (as was I). I regret that I didn't stay in touch with you after that. You were a remarkably kind and respectful young man back then, and I hear those who know you now saying the same of you now, which doesn't surprise me a bit. I don't know if you will ever see this letter, but even if you don't, it might be fun for your fans who read these things to know these things about you. I wish you all the best in life, and I cannot reiterate enough how proud I am of you. You're a good man, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of your musical journey and to have called you my friend.

Doyle had the soul of a blues man at a young age. Great to watch him grow age and mature. I remember when he played with the Thunderbirds and was dubbed " the next SRV" Fast forward to arcangels with soulful and blues tributes like "see what tomorrow brings" and "good time" ...moving on to doing Pink Floyd SOLOS with Roger Waters, to playing the Great Wall of China with Clapton....this guys career continues to grow. Playing with Mayer Tedeshchi and Countless others, and being a studio legend. Love me some Doyal. I was introduced by a Bay area legend Stu Blank. Rip.

I love the footage of Gadson...I would guess he played on the track and the footage might be of him recording it or other material on the album. Everything that guy does is a stone gas!

My words fail to describe how beautiful this is, so I will quote Van, The Man, "Turn it up, turn it up, little bit higher, radio. Turn it up, that's enough, so you know, it's got soul." Mr. Bramhall, so you know, you have soul, so much soul! In a world where the music industry is more concerned with ratings of contest shows and an artist's number of online streams than making great music, thank you for creating art that is authentic and beautiful. You rock!

Great song! Lovely vocal and harmonies, steller. Lovely guitar work and great chorus. Doyle has come from a blues background and has developed really interestingly, you can hear a more 70s soulful vibe here a little bit of Eric towards the end.... In the actual track you get two lovely trading solos between him and doyle which is beautiful. Great track doyle love it! From your UK blues rock guitarist fan.

DB... I watched you play that gig with Roger in Portland Oregon at the rose garden arena. The inspiration you 'all' gave me took me all the way to singing every single major arena on the northern continent... from one coast to the other. LOL... NO SHIT MAN. I watched you and 'snowy white' and Roger ... and I went out put a band together .. a soul band... and I played out. And I invited a random woman to my gig ... who put me in Trans Siberian Orchestra. Hence, I toured huge for 4 years. I felt that big tour feeling and I loved and continue to love it. Thank you for being such a light for me to admire and grow from. All because of that magical night at the rose garden it changed my musical career forever and ever.
