A documentary video presenting the historical past about Pearl Beach Michigan and the adjoining Pt Aux Tremble, Harsens Island, St Clair River and St Clair Flats area. Once a thriving resort area about 50 miles north of Detroit that was only accessible via steamer or streetcar during the late 1800's - early 1900's. Many small resort hotels dotted the islands that were part of the St Clair River Delta as it flowed into Lake St Clair.

Moved to Pearl Beach from "the city" (13 Mile and Ryan) in 1977. Lived in Pearl City (with Algonac Address) on Harcus Court. Was such a sleepy little town during that time, but I absolutely loved it. Loved the people and the river life - all the boating, all the islands, visiting Canada by bike. Miss it.

Well I for one am glad boat loads of people don't come here anymore. Can you imagine if that many people went to Harsens Is. Every weekend? Also I didn't see any mentions of the Bryson's here. Must be bad blood. Never the less they were here long before Jonny leggas.... Ehhhh actually this was boring...
